Gabriella is 14 months

- Size 2 shoes... still
- Size 2 diapers
-This month you had your first coconut and you LOVED it!
-First time petting a chicken. You were not scared at all and I'm pretty sure you wanted to squeeze it to death!
- Finally in 12 month rompers, shirts and dresses. Although, you''re in 9 month shorts or jeans
-This month you went through the cabinets and emptied our two bags of flour. Fun for me! You like to go through all of the cabinets. Luckily, daddy installed child locks on the ones that have things you can break or make a mess with
- You have a love/hate relationship with shoes. You love to try to put on shoes but you refuse to wear them out in public.
- You started having little tantrums when you don't get your way. And when I don't give you what you want, your big brother comes around yelling at me to stop being mean to you. You have a protector for life!
- Words: Ty Ty, Grandma, Mom, Dad, Dog, Cat, Amen.Baby, Owwww, etc
- When I ask you to give or do something you are very good at listening. (usually)
-You LOVE your little baby that Auntie Milly and Uncle Lindsey bought for your birthday.

Mirror Mirror on the wall

The mirror in the kid's bathroom has always bugged me. I have wanted to buy a new one but we want to eventually re-do their bathroom so it didn't make sense to buy a new one knowing we would change it. Ty has a stool that he uses to brush his teeth but the mirror was too high so he could never see himself. So, I decided to spray paint it hang it differently so it would be more appropriate for his height.  We had some white spray paint lying around which made this $0.

This is a great fix until we decide to spend the $$$ to renovate the bathroom!

(This was the only picture I had showing the mirror. Not our decor. Old owners.)

The mirror was called "cracked champagne" so it's a little uneven which works with our nautical theme
I used Gloss Dover white from Krylon.

Mirror Mirror on the wall, who's the cutest boy of all??

Ty was very pleased with the results and I was pleased with the cost

Little Tikes Playhouse Remodel

I found a Little Tikes playhouse and separate slide for $30! I would be getting basically a playhouse for $20 and slide for $10 or $15 each. Regardless, of how you slice it, I was ecstatic!  They were both extremely weathered but I knew that I could spray paint them and make them look good as new!
I'm pretty sure I have a love obsession with spray paint.

 The posted picture!
We laid everything flat so we could clean it with the hose. It was FILTHY!
This was Ty's special job and he was SO happy!

Meanwhile, Gabriella was having A BLAST on the slide :)

My husband took off the shutters and we laid them down to spray them with the first coat.
After a lot of research I decided to use Krylon Fusion for plastic in Burgundy with a gloss finish for the shutters and door.
For the roof, we used Krylon Fusion in Espresso with a Gloss finish as well.
We bought this at Walmart but you can look on the Krylon website to find where it is sold near you!

We decided to add a rug that we already had to the bottom!

The wet spot surrounding the house would be bug spray :)
Her favorite part is opening and closing the door

We want to add a little doormat and planter box soon! :)
