Selling and Buying!

The decision to sell our house was influenced by many factors. For starters, the neighborhood we lived in, we loved. But, the schools left much to be desired. We figured we would need to move in middle school if we wanted our children to be in a better school district.  Luckily, we were in the position where we could move since the prices of homes had gone up since we purchased.

When we decided to make the journey up North we prayed that this was the right decision for our family. Luckily, our house was on the market for a week and we closed a month and 5 days later. Tyler was able to transfer his job -- easily. We contemplated areas and chose the town my parent's lived in. It was very important to us that we moved to an area with excellent schools. Leaving Tyler's family, particularly his mother was very difficult. Ty has a VERY close relationship with her and we knew it would be hard on him not seeing her as often as he was use too. Luckily, she has been able to see them a couple times a month so the transition hasn't been too difficult. We bought in a nicer area so we ruled out the possibility of getting a larger home but still had everything we wanted. This time around our list of must haves were much different.
